Jamie Carter, of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), monitors maps coastal inundation and monitors coastal dynamics in the Pacific Island Territories, Hawaii, and New England. Using many tools, including satellite and drone imagery, airborne radar, tide stations, and GPS, he works with numerous Maine communities as they prepare for a more resilient future. Jamie will discuss the what and why of water-level rise in Maine, and review steps that can be taken to prepare.
